My fellow blogger continued his 'rant' about the Vista in his latest blog entry. Well for a change I must admit that he his right. In my previous blog entry I had talked about why I think small businesses must consider upgrading to Vista. I would have been spot on if not for Microsoft's stupidity!!
Now according to ZDNet the new Vista upgrade DVD's will not be able to install on a machine t...

I come from the KISS (keep it simple stupid) school of thought. So anybody who does not believe in that can move on. I don’t want to further complicate your complicated lives.
But in my opinion phones today are getting soo complicated that it is becoming hard to actually make a phone call (check out this funny youtube video).
Now the iPhone can play music & videos, has inbuilt wifi...

What’s all the fuss about the Apple TV? The Apple TV, in my humble opinion, is just a stripped out computer.
I for one have a computer (let me know if u want to know the specs!!) at home that connects to the HDTV through a DVI port. My HDTV supports multiple resolutions and I am extremely happy with the quality. In addition I have a 60 GB hard disk as against the 40 GB that the A...

Microsoft is releasing the Vista on the 30th of January (though some businesses have had access since November) and the big question is ‘what should we do?’ Now I think the answer to this is not simple. It depends..It depends on whether its for your business or your home use.
A lot of experts have praised the new look and feel of Vista and also the enhanced security of IE7 ...

Apple has started taking pre-orders for the Apple TV for $299. The Tech specs of the device have also been released though they seem to have left out the nitty-gritty.
The Apple TV runs on a Pentium-m chip and consists of 40 GB hard drive with in-build 802.11 n capability. This will help you wirelessly sync up with the iTunes library on your home computer or laptop. It also remains 'synced' ...

I compared the iPhone, Treo, Moto Q & Blackjack in my previous blog. I left out the Blackberry because I believe that RIM is targeting a different market.
A significant portion of the cell phone market is driven by businesses, especially the high-end phone market that Apple is entering. While the iPhone targets individuals, the Blackberry targets the corporations.
Businesses really dont...

Well at this point I guess we have more questions than answers. To start of the discussion Ive done a quick comparison between the iPhone, Moto Q, Treo 750 & Blackjack.
my 2 cents on the iPhone
Typically extra-cool Apple design. The voice mail feature definitely surprised me!! You can now get a list of all your voice mails and select the one you want to listen to. This will add to the c...

Now that we’re done with our holidays :(..its time to spend less time with the family and more with the tech toyzz. Tech gifts are definitely my favorite but it often takes me a good month before I can use them. I generally start by reading the often unreadable manuals and finally end up searching the web to get everything connected This season I spent time writing setup guides/videos and...

Well..the Macworld San Francisco is approaching quickly and the one question in everybody's mind is iPhone, iTV or both?
The whole rumor about the iPhone has been going on for a while (since 2002). There was also a report recently about a Taiwanese manufacturer (Hon Hai) receiving a 12 million unit contract. But in typical Apple style (super secretive) the company has not confirmed anything...
