Vista: Upgrade, install or do nothing?

Microsoft is releasing the Vista on the 30
th of January (though some businesses have had access since November) and the big question is ‘what should we do?’ Now I think the answer to this is not simple. It depends..It depends on whether its for your business or your home use.
A lot of experts have praised the new look and feel of Vista and also the enhanced security of IE7 and the OS. Vista is said to make it easy to install and maintain wireless networks. In addition it (IE7) has some features to detect phishing. This is great for small businesses that have sensitive information on their computers. So in my opinion small businesses should consider getting the Vista. Now upgrade or install? Most bloggers recommend a clean install since Microsoft upgrades have seldom been clean. One thing I read (and thought was very helpful) is the Windows Vista Upgrade Advisor. This will help you understand compatibility issues and hopefully ways to resolve them. Also please do read the hardware requirements for the Vista before making a decision.
Now lets come to individuals..I for one am very happy with my XP. I’m going to wait for at least 2 or 3 security patches before installing this thing because I don’t have an immediate need for it. Also why not give them (Microsoft) time to iron out all the kinks in the OS.
There is no doubt in my mind that Vista is going to be the dominant OS in the next couple of years..but I don’t see the hurry for upgrading immediately.
Would love to hear any experiences you’ll have had with Vista or even if you’ve read something (that Ive missed) that either supports or contradicts what Im saying.
