(Vista rant cont.) In the words of Nirvana "I'm not the only one."

In order to prove I'm totally ensconced into the blogosphere, I'd like to point out how right I am (insert wink here).

In my previous post, I mentioned that upgrading to Vista is a bad idea.  The only way one should upgrade is when you go to buy your next machine. Although I like to think I have a knack to turn a phrase, this Cnet.com review did a much nicer job at summing it up:

However, it is not worth rushing out to purchase. If you desperately need to buy a new PC (if your old one died or you've been waiting and waiting for Vista to be released), then by all means do so; there's nothing wrong with Windows Vista. But there's no one compelling feature within Windows Vista that cries out to switch over... (snip)

Although I'm only a minor fan of Cnet, I do like their product reviews (esp. when they agree with me).

Joking aside, just because I think it's not a good idea doesn't mean 1) people aren't going to do it, and 2) Zolved won't support it.  People who are upgrading/switching to Vista will be able to come to Zolved to get help and tips on the switch.  We're already indexing websites and are in the process of upgrading one of our machines (but not mine, of course).
