More Wii FPS games on the way and hopefully, a damn cool blaster.

Things are definitely starting to pick up steam for the Wii crowd out there.  First there was the "work in progress" Zapper (reported by, and image courtesy of Joystiq). Then the announcement of Resident Evil 4 for the Wii will be coming this summer. Also, a third-party offering for turning the Wii remote/numchuk into a blaster. Oh boy that adds up to a lot of speculation about a lot of fun gaming. 

For example, someone like me might see the above news stories, and then reflect on the numerous games based on old movies (The Godfather, The Warriors). And then, if that person was very much like me, they would start to speculate about maybe an Outlaw Josey Wales game (you'd need 4 controllers, two on the side, one tucked under the buckle and one stashed under the left arm).

Glossary:
FPS - First Person Shooter, a video game where you get blast everything in sight.
blaster - a gun-like device that makes you feel cooler blasting everything in sight.
