LG announces touch screen video MP3 player
With the name a wee bit tongue twisting, LG's MFFM37 (pronounce it and people’ll think you are talking with your mouth full) will be the latest MP3 player to hit the market.
The MFFM37 "Touch Me" player features a 2.4 inch LCD touch screen. It comes with up to 4GB of memory and can play back MP3, WMA, and OGG music, and MPEG4 and WMV9 movie files. Its 10EQ auto equalizer offers preset sound set-ups such as "stadium", "concert" and "club", and is supposed to automatically set the appropriate effect from information stored in the song's ID3 tag. It connects to a PC, for organising music and video, via USB 2.0, and runs from an internal lithium battery.
LG MFFM37 measures just 51.5mm wide, 90mm long and 9.9mm thick and will be available from June. Price is to be confirmed.
Don’t be surprised if touch screen technology becomes the latest fad among gadget buffs. |
