Google Translate surpasses language barriers
Google’s objective of providing access to world information is now made simple. The new feature Google Translate is a giant step - it's a step closer to a truly "worldwide" Web where every page would be available for everyone to read in his or her own language.
Just set your language preferences (i.e. English to Spanish), type in your search query and Google will translate the query to Spanish, and translate those web pages back to English. The search results show side by side, and the origin (Spanish) search results can be hidden.
If you're looking for wine tasting events in Bordeaux while on vacation in France, just type "wine tasting events in Bordeaux" into the search box on the "Search results" tab on Google Translate. You'll then get French search results and a (machine) translation of these search results into English.
Besides being very valuable to Internet users world wide ,this feature will be particularly advantageous to the language learners in schools. These students will now be able to research in their native language and access both English and native translations of English websites.
