SecureDisc DVD Writer from LG

Business establishments worried about their data getting into the wrong hands now have a reason to cheer. LG announced the launch of their new Super Multi Security drive in the UK today. LG DVD/CD writer is the first to use SecureDisc technology available exclusively from Nero and HL Data Storage.

SecureDisc allows users to write data to discs layered with security as the data is burned. Passwords and encryption are applied to the data as it is laid to the disc during the burn process.

To make the data more robust, it is duplicated on spare space on the disc so retrieval is more likely if the disc is damaged.

My IDE LG Dvd Writer cannot read or write on DVD Disc Anymore but can read and write on CD's. It was ok before. I Don't know what happned...
