Sony Bravia LCDs with Internet Video Link released

Sony has introduced nine new Bravia flat-panel LCD high-definition televisions with advanced features

The choice in flat-panel LCD high-definition TVs got only better with Sony introducing on Wednesday nine new models in the Bravia series with advanced features.

The new models all feature 1920 x 1080 full high-definition resolution, 10-bit panels. Select models will also have the Motionflow 120Hz high frame rate technology as well as x.v. Color capability.

All models feature Sony’s Digital Media Extender (DMeX), offering a digital connection for the Bravia Internet Video Link module (sold separately), which allows users to view select Internet video, music videos, movie trailers, user generated videos and RSS feeds. Then there is the Bravia Theatre Sync feature which enables one to view a Blu-ray Disc movie, listen to surround sound audio via an AV receiver, and control other components, all over just one single cable connection and with the click of one button on the remote.
















Encompassing the XBR5, XBR4 and W series, they come in screen sizes of 52, 46 and 40 inches (measured diagonally) and are priced in the range  from $2,700  to  $5,100.
