Cellphone company releases cellphone, doesn't mention it's a cellphone

The Nokia N77 is described as a multimedia computer. I'm sure you can call your mom on it.

While the design is nothing earth-shattering, the Nokia N77 it's definitely crammed full of features.  I used to think "why would you want to watch TV on a phone" like so many other ney-sayers.  Then I switched jobs I ended up with a 45 minute commute each way. Now I wouldn't mind The Charlie Rose Show on my way home from work. But that's all in the future anyway. The N77 is just available in Finland now, and then in China and India later this month.  I'm not up to date on the status of mobile TV in the US ("...is offered in markets where commercial mobile TV services based on DVB-H technology are available"), but I'm guessing that our DVB-H isn't up and running currently.

Here's a synopsis from the press release: "With practically all the features people would expect from a true Nokia Nseries multimedia computer, including MP3 player, 2 megapixel camera (1600 x 1200 pixels), web browsing, email access, calendar and to-do lists, the Nokia N77 is much more than just live TV and entertainment - it's the key to an entire world of multimedia computing."

No mention of it being a phone. No mention in the press release at all. The first indication that you can make a call on it is in the tech specs, which I added below, if you're the kind of person who reads those. I mean, is it marketing suicide to say you got a new cellphone? And shouldn't it be suicide if you call something a "computer" that only has the standard number pad?
