SanDisk memory cards squeeze in more memory

The new microSDHC flash memory cards are ideal for the growing number of feature-rich multimedia handsets that bring together phones, music players, hand-held computers, digital cameras and more.

Very soon we’ll have people complaining about having to recharge batteries frequently. Not that batteries will turn out to be substandard suddenly, it’s only that there’s going to be a greater strain on their power resources.

More and more memory gigabytes of memory are getting squeezed into microSD cards. SanDisk has already announced the availability of a 4 GB Memory Stick Micro card designed for use with mobile handsets. It has the capacity to hold up to 1,000 MP3 songs, 9,600 high-resolution photos or up to 20 hours of MPEG4 video2.

Now, with so much capacity at their disposal, can you blame mobile phone users for constantly fiddling with their devices?
