Asus PC card crosses the speed barrier

ASUS announced release of the ASUS T500 3.5G High Speed PC card that provides 3.6Mbps data download speed and has many other features.

Mobile computing got past a few more notches in the computing speedometer with Asus announcing the launch of T500 3.5G High Speed PC card. With 3.6Mbps data download speed, this little wonder offers unique phone communication functions for the PC or laptop.

The T500 supports SIM, phone book and Outlook sync functions to easily manage contacts besides tracking up to 100 missed, dialed and received calls with its call log feature. The T500 has an audio path from the PC card headset jack and supports voice call functions.

The device is capable of multiple access services supporting GPRS/ EDGE as well as GSM and WCDMA. Asus claims that it will provide connectivity superior to WiFi in some locations and can replace the ADSL or Cable modem.
