Venzero Slickr multimedia players remind of iPhone Nano

Venzero Slickr MP3 player looks like iPod nano, but does not feature a touch-screen navigation.

Call it blatant copying or design inspiration, Venzero Slickr MP3 player looks so much like the iPhone nano. That’s the only similarity though and ends there, for despite the iPhone-like design, you cannot use the touch screen to navigate the Slickr. You have to use the buttons. The sleek device has a radio, built-in speaker, JPEG photo viewer and an AVI movie player which supports MP3, WMA and WAV files.  The 2GB of memory can be expanded with an SD card slot.

What’s unique for Venzero Slickr is its built-in MusicMarker feature that records a 10-second sample of any music source and later identifies the artist and title of the song. But for that you have to connect the Slickr a computer before the analysis can take place.

This $129 German beauty will be available sometime in August in the US, but you can pick one from Venzero's site if you are keen on having one.
