Timex watches double up as iPod remotes

We all are aware of the Timex Ironman as a trendy watch that serves as an excellent workout companion, keeping track of our laps on the treadmill. Now, while on the treadmill you can also listen to your favorite tunes on the ipod. Timex has made the Ironman iPod friendly: just plug the included dongle into your iPod and the watch acts as a remote.

The device operates in the 2.4 GHz range and not with Bluetooth. Play, pause, skip tracks or adjust the volume via buttons on the watch. Change the mode and the same buttons control different workout-related features. Whether you control the iPod or lap timer depends on how long you hold down the button!
