Stylish concept clock for the visually impaired from Swatch

The new concept clock from Swatch combines style with functionality.

Swatch’s concept clock, Sens Time by Touch, is a very fashionable device. Ironically, it has been designed by Arnaud Lapierre keeping the visually impaired in mind, who’ll never get to see its beauty.
Aesthetics apart, it’s a very practicable piece for the visually impaired. The outermost surface of this device serves as the calibration point with a Braille twelve-hour marker and there are three concentric circles (two ceramic and one plastic) in the device.

The time is denoted depending on the distance the two ceramic circles are from the twelve-hour marker. The plastic ring is used to set the alarm using the same principal.

Combining style and functionality, this ceramic timepiece can be a good showpiece in your drawing room.
