New Logitech mouse allows navigation in free air

The Logitech MX Air Rechargeable Cordless Mouse can be moved around in around in 3D space and you can gesture your way to screen navigation.

Mice have rolled forward a long way from the days of the ball. Remember the awkward cursor movements and the frequent cleaning of mice balls? Thankfully, optical technology put an end to all that.

Now microelectricalmechanical (MEMS) sensors are here to make your job much more easier. Sensing angular motion and gravity, they transform hand motions into natural, responsive cursor controls. So that you can use the mouse just like a remote, without the need for a mousepad or a flat surface.

Logitech has been the first to feature this technology in its MX Air rechargeable cordless mouse. The 2.4 GHz MX Air can operate in the range of 30 feet from anywhere in the room and features laser-precise tracking and ultra-smooth scrolling.

Just lean back and play your favorite music, watch a movie, or browse your favorite photos in your PC-based media. But to do all this, you have to shell out a premium of $150.
