Buffalo's turbo USB drives are 60 per cent faster

Buffalo claims that the Turbo USB technology in its hard drives makes them 60 percent faster than any others in the market.

Most users find external USB hard disks quite convenient, especially when transferring huge chunks of data from one computer to the other in the absence of a network. But, the data transfer rate is something which they are not happy with.

Buffalo claims to have made a breakthrough in this field. According to the company, its MiniStation and DriveStation USB drives are 60 percent faster than any others in the market and it attributes the speed to its exclusive Turbo USB technology that works equally well on Macs and PCs. Though the company didn't say how it's done, if the claims are true, then it’s a good deal for customers, for the prices are comparable to other drives with the same capacities.
