Zolved - lock up in logo mode, not seen by computer, did all resets when you do basic reset, screen blanks out and apple logo comes back up, then stays there. tried full reset nothing happens, there is no noise from the disk. OK - charge it up a bit first.

Then do the reset again (press and hold middle button and top "menu" button). It will turn off, reset and turn itself on again.

Immediately press and hold the middle button and the bottom "play/pause" button. This will force it into disk mode - the screen will tell you it is in disk mode. (If you can't get it into disk mode, try pressing the buttons as soon as it goes blank after a reset.

Once in disk mode it should show upon your computer and then you can open itunes and restore it.
