My computer crashed 2 months ago, and I just recently got a new computer. My iPod was working perfectly fine on my old computer before the crash. When I went to plug in my iPod to my new computer last week, nothing happened. It doesn't show up in My Computer, iTunes, or Disk/Device Manager. It does not charge when plugged into the computer. It does charge in a wall charger. I can still listen to the iPod. I can't restore the iPod because it doesn't show up in iTunes and it is a 2nd Generation iPod Shuffle and doesn't have a screen so I can't restore it on the device itself. Please help! This happened on my old computer with the same iPod last year, but the next day it worked perfectly fine. Don't know what is going on! Configuration: 2nd Generation iPod Shuffle iTunes 9 Windows Vista Home Service Pack 2 History: Just recently got a new computer and downloaded the latest verson of iTunes (was using iTunes 8 on old computer) |
