Question

I recently bought a new laptop with Windows Vista installed in it. It let me surfs the internet, but I always get trouble moving forward everytime I go either into Gmail, or Blogspot to edit my blog entry. It would jam up my entire window and the mouse will not respond, and I have to press ctrl+alt+del to end the task. Even if I enter Blogspot the second time to try to edit, the same thing happens. I didn't get this sort of problem with my old laptop which runs on Windows XP, but unfortunately, that laptop is no longer with me. Help!!??!!

Configuration: HP Pavilion dv2000 running on Windows Vista

History: Purchased 6 months ago, still not a scratch on it.

First of all, thank you for your response. Here are the clarifications to your questions:

    a) I am using IE version 7.

    b) Computer has Norton antivirus software, RAM 2.5 GB Hertz (available 1.23GB), and I think I have only 33% disk space available of the total 138GB.

    c) The problem started last month when I just started accessing Gmail for the first time with the new laptop, and again yesterday, when I first accessed my blog site which I left dormant for 1 year.

    d) Version of Vista used is Windows Vista Home Premium (Version 6.0 (Build 6000)).

I also asked another person yesterday about the same issue, and he also suggested I switched to Firefox. I haven't got around to do that yet, but I'll update you the outcome.

    Thanks.
