If "Tape!" is displayed on your camcorder, it could mean one of several things.
If "Tape!" is displayed on your camcorder, it could mean one of several things.
- The tape in the camcorder is full. Insert a new tape.
- The tape is defective.
*Try rewinding and fast forwarding the tape for several seconds.
*Remove and reinsert the tape. - The protection switch may be on. Slide the protection switch on the tape to the unprotected position. Ensure you're not going to record over something you may have wanted to save and try recording again.
