Precautions needed while using the Canon camcorder's battery at low temperatures
Read this article to know how to handle your camcorder's battery at low temperatures.
Battery pack performance may be reduced at low temperatures and the low battery icon may appear earlier than usual. Under these conditions, warming the battery pack in your pocket immediately before use may revive it.
Important: Never warm the battery in a pocket that also contains metallic items such as a key holder, etc, as this may cause a short circuit.
