Can I Run spyware scan using Comcast Toolbar?
To scan and delete spyware from your PC, click the Spyware Scan button in the Comcast Toolbar. Or, you can click the arrow next to the button and select Run Spyware Scan from the drop-down list.
- To scan and delete spyware from your PC, click the Spyware Scan button in the Comcast Toolbar. Or, you can click the arrow next to the button and select Run Spyware Scan from the drop-down list.
- In the Options field, select your scanning options. Comcast strongly suggests that at a minimum you scan your registry and files. Click the Begin Scan button when you're ready to start the scan.
- The scanning process can take several minutes depending on the speed of your PC. The Status area will update as the scan is running.
- Once the scan has completed, the Results area will contain a list of any suspected spyware that was detected.
- To view the details of any pieces of spyware found, highlight the item and click the View Details button.
- To remove all of the spyware from your system, click the Remove All button.
- After all of the spyware from your system has been removed, the Details window will be empty. Click Done to finish.
