Where did the "new e-mail" notification on the top of the Comcast.net start page go?

The top toolbar at http://www.comcast.net/contains links to frequently used Comcast applications and web sites - including the Comcast.net home page, Comcast Webmail, The Fan, and Ask Comcast.

When you sign in to the Comcast.net start page, the Comcast Mail icon will display a number in the upper right corner (see example in the image below) identifying the number of new e-mail messages you have. In the example below, there are three new e-mails. This replaces the link, "You have 3 new messages" that used to appear at the top of the page.
