I unplugged my web cam while Comcast Video Mail was open and now my video is gone. What do I do?
Comcast Video Mail requires a webcam to operate. Unplugging the webcam is never recommended while the program is open. If the USB cord becomes disconnected, both the program and your computer may freeze, particularly if your webcam is your audio input source. If this happens, you will need to reboot your computer.
When you re-open Comcast Video Mail, your video will most likely be deleted. Press Options and select Video Setup. Next, re-select your webcam from the pull down menu. You will now be able to begin creating another video.
