Steps to take to edit an email account to Outlook 2000. Note: Before completing the below steps you will need your email address and password.
Manual Solution
- Open Outlook 2000.
- Click on Tools at the top of the window.
- Click on Services.
- Click on the account you want to edit and click the Properties button.
- Verify that your Name and Email address are entered properly and then click the Servers tab.
- On the Servers tab ensure that the Incoming and Outgoing mail server are correct and that the Account Name and Password are correct. Click Here to find your server.
- Then click on the Connection tab.
- Make sure Connect using my local area network (LAN) is selected and click OK to close the properties window.
- Click OK to close the Services window.
