Why do I get an 'uninstall component missing' error when I try to install or uninstall RealPlayer?

When you try to install or uninstall RealPlayer or RealOne Player, you may get an "uninstall component missing" error message. This issue has been resolved with the latest version of RealPlayer. We recommend that you update to the latest version.

If you are unable to download the latest player because you do not meet the system requirements or you purchased a premium version of an older product, you will need to perform a clean install of RealPlayer. A clean install means uninstalling both RealPlayer and its folders, then reinstalling it.
