How do I Download and Install BellSouth Parental Controls

To download and install BellSouth Parental Controls, do the following:

1. Go to home.bellsouth.net.
2. Click on the Parental Controls link on the left side navigation panel, under the "Your Internet Service" section.
3. You will be prompted to log in using your bellsouth.net username and password.
4. Select create an Administrative Account.
5. Type your name into the NAME field.
6. Type a password into the PASSWORD field.
7. Retype your password into the second PASSWORD field. 
8. Use the drop down box, to select a SECRET QUESTION.
9. Type the answer to your SECRET QUESTION, into the SECRET field.
10. Click continue.

1. Click Download Now to download the Parental Controls.

1. When the File Download message box appears, click the Save button.

1. Save the file to the Desktop.

1. When the file has downloaded, it will create an icon on the desktop; double-click that icon.

1. When the BellSouth Parental Controls Setup window appears, click Next.

1. When the License Agreement window appears, check Yes to accept the terms.
2. Click Next.

1. When the BellSouth Parental Controls Setup Congratulations window appears, click Finish.

1. When the Parental Controls Login box starts, type your user name into the Username field.
2. Type your password into the Password field.
3. Click Login.

1. After logging in, the BellSouth Login Status Message box pops up indicating your sign-in in progress.

1. After you are successfully signed-in, BellSouth Parental Controls can be accessed from the BellSouth Parental Controls icon in your computer's System Tray on the bottom right of the desktop.
