How To Set Up Static IP on a Cayman Router for BellSouth Connection

To check your firmware version, follow the steps below:

1. Go to your router interface.
   • NOTE: Refer to your router manual for instructions on how to get to your router interface.
2. Select Monitor in the upper left corner of the screen.
3. Select Overview. The firmware version displays.

To set up your static IP address, follow the instructions below:

1. Verify that your router is connected.
2. Type 192.168.1.254 in the address field of your browser.
3. Type the router admin password in the New Password field.
4. Type the same router admin password in the Confirm Password field.
5. Click Submit.
NOTE: The Admin Password screen allows access to the interface of the router.



6. Type "admin" in the Username field.
7. Type your personal password in the Password field.
   • NOTE: This is the password entered on the previous screen. This password allows access to the router.

8. Click Okay. The following screen displays.
   

        
   
   

9. In the User Name field, type your new ISP username, which equals your username, then a "%" sign, then the word "static" such as "username%static".
10. Enter your ISP password.
11. Click Submit.
