Instructions on using additional Parental Control Plus Parental Override

Parental Override—If you created a system password, you can override the Parental Controls Plus settings on a specific computer to temporarily gain access to a site that has been blocked. For example, if you are using a computer that has been assigned to the Kid’s screening group and you want to gain temporary access to a site that is normally blocked, you can use the Parental Override feature by entering your system password.

To take advantage of the Parental Override feature, do the following:

  1. In the browser Address field of the computer that is assigned to a restricted screening group, type the Web address you wish to visit. The Web Access is Blocked screen displays.

                                 

  2. In the Parental Override window, type the system password in the Password field.
