"Session is closed" error message on AOL Internet.

Getting message on AOL ISP connection as "Session is closed"

You will receive the message "This Session Is Closed," when the AOL® OpenRideTM software has closed or lost the connection. It will be necessary to close the software, then sign in again to reestablish the conntection.

You will receive the message "IM-0270 This Session Is Closed," when the AOL® OpenRide® software has closed or lost the connection. It will be necessary to close the software, then sign in again to reestablish the connection.

Close Out of the AOL OpenRide Software, Then Sign In Again

When there is a problem with the AOL® OpenRide® connection, closing out and signing in again should resolve the issue.

To close out of the AOL OpenRide software, then sign in again:
1. Click the X in the upper right to close the AOL OpenRide window.
2. Click the Start button, select All Programs, select AOL, then click AOL OpenRide.
3. Click the Sign In link.
4. As needed, enter your screen name and password, then click the Sign In button.
5. Contact the sender and request they send the chat invite again.
