Search Your Address Book on AOL or AIM Mail
The Address Book on AOL or AIM Mail has a built-in search feature to assist in finding Address Book entries quickly.
To search your Address Book on AOL or AIM Mail:
1. In the AOL Mail or AIM Mail window, click the Addresses button.
2. Click the Select a criteria to search for (magnifying glass) drop-down menu to open it, choose a search criteria, then click it.
3. Type your search item in the text box, then click the Search button.
4. Click the Cancel button to return to the full Address Book view.
Search Your Address Book on AOL or AIM Mail Using the Addresses Panel
You can search your Address Book from the Today, Inbox, or Calendar views.
To search your Address Book on AOL or AIM Mail using the Addresses panel:
1. On the lower left of your AIM Mail window, click the Addresses tab to open the Addresses panel.
2. To filter your search by category (for example, Family, Co-Workers, Friends), click the Filter by name or category drop-down menu to open it, choose a category from the list, then click it.
3. In the text box, type the search item.
4. As you type the Address Book will display the closest match to what you are typing.
