What are shared groups on AOL or AOL Instant Messenger ( AIM ) Mail ?
An AOL Group is where you can share messages, photos, Websites, special events, etc. with people you choose. The shared group will show up in your Address Book and you can send e-mail to the group from the AOL Groups Main Page.

AOL Groups@AOL.com can only be created by AOL members; however, anyone who has received an e-mail invitation can join.
