How to switch between the screen names on AOL or AIM mail?
You can quickly and easily switch between screen names once they are linked.
You can link your screen names, to make checking your mail easier. Once you have linked your screen names, you will be able to switch easily between screen names.

Link Screen Names
You can link all of your screen names you use on the AIM® service, and if you also use the AOL® service, you can link those screen names too.
Note: If you link an AIM® screen name but never created the mailbox, the linked AIM screen name will not appear on your drop-down menu. To get the screen name to appear, sign into http://webmail.aol.com with the AIM screen name to associate a mailbox, then the screen name will appear the next time you sign in.
To link screen names:
1. At the top of the panel on the left side of the screen, click the drop-down arrow next to your screen name, then click the Manage Screen Names link. The Screen Name Sign In window will be opened.
2. Type your screen name in the Screen Name box, type your password in the Password box, then click the Sign On button.
3. Click the Add a Screen Name button.
4. Type the screen name to be linked in the Screen Name box, type the password for this screen name in the Password box, then click the Save button.
5. Repeat step 4 for each additional screen name to be linked.
6. Click the Sign Out button, then click the X in the top right corner of the Screen Name Sign In window.
Unlink Screen Names
If you no longer use a specific screen name or you do not want to view the e-mail for a specific screen name you can unlink the screen name.
To unlink screen names:
1. At the top of the panel on the left side of the screen, click the drop-down arrow next to your screen name, then click the Manage Screen Names link. The Screen Name Sign In window will be opened.
2. Type your screen name in the Screen Name box, type your password in the Password box, then click the Sign On button.
3. Click the box for each screen name to be unlinked to place a check mark in it, then click the Unlink Selected Screen Names button.
4. Click the Sign Out button, then click the X in the top right corner of the Screen Name Sign In window.
Switch Between Screen Names
You can quickly and easily switch between screen names once they are linked.
To switch between linked screen names:
1. At the top of the panel on the left side of the screen, click the drop-down arrow next to your screen name, then click the screen name for which to view mail. A sign in pop-up window will be displayed in the top right corner of the page, the selected screen name will already be entered for you.
2. Type the password for this screen name in the Password box, then click the Sign In button.
