How to use the Today Tab feature on AOL or AIM Mail?
When you first sign in to AOL or AIM Mail the Today tab will be displayed. This tab provides information about the current date and time, your messages, Events, Tasks, a Write Mail button, links to top news stories, feature articles, and promotions.
When you first sign in to AOL® or AIM® Mail the Today tab will be displayed. This tab provides information about the current date and time, your messages, Events, Tasks, a Write Mail button, links to top news stories, feature articles, and promotions.
You will be greeted using the name you specified when you signed up for the service or, if you didn't specify a greeting name, with your screen name. Click the Write Mail button, located to the right of the greeting, to open the Write Mail window and write and send an e-mail message. Click the date and time link, located in the top right corner of the Today tab, to view the current date in your Calendar.
Immediately below the greeting, the number of new messages, Events scheduled for the current day, and open Tasks will be displayed as links. Click one of the links to see the associated messages, Events, or Tasks.
The Top News section provides links to general news stories. Click one of the links to see that news story. To see business news, click the Business link. To see entertainment news, click the Entertainment link.
Also available are links to feature articles and promotions. Click one of these links to read the feature article or to see more information about a promotion.
