How to do Calendar Settings on AOL or AIM Mail?

You can customize the settings of your calendar on AIM Mail. The settings that can be modified are Time Zone, Display Time, and Reminders.

The following features may not be available for AOL® My eAddress accounts at this time: AOL® Pictures, AIM® Express, Linked Screen Names, AOL® Journals, Reminders and some AOL® Calendar features will be supported in the near future. Check back soon for these features.

Time Zone

You can adjust the time zone settings so that your calendar will be accurate for your local time zone and that reminders are sent at the proper time.

To set the Time Zone:
1. On the AIM Mail window, in the upper right, click the Settings button.
2. On the left, click the Calendar tab.
3. Next to Time Zone:, click the down arrow, then click the appropriate time zone for your local area.
4. Click the Save button.
5. Click the OK button.

Display

You can adjust the time display on your calendar on AOL Mail or AIM Mail. This is particularly useful for work calendars.

To adjust the time display:
1. On the AOL Mail or AIM Mail window, in the upper right, click the Settings button.
2. On the left, click the Calendar tab.
3. Next to Day starts at:, click the down arrow, then click the time you wish to start the calendar display.
4. Next to Day ends at:, click the down arrow, then click the time you wish to end the calendar display.
5. Click the Save button.
6. Click the OK button.

Reminders

You can change how you wish to receive your reminders.

To adjust your reminders preferences:
1. On the AOL Mail or AIM Mail window, in the upper right, click the Settings button.
2. On the left, click the Calendar tab.
3. Next to Reminders:, click the Edit Calendar Reminder Settings button.
4. On the Edit Your Preferred Delivery window, adjust your delivery as desired, then click the Save button.
