How to Create a PPPoE DSL Internet Connection for the Sony PlayStation 2
  1. Insert the Network Adaptor Start-Up Disc into the PlayStation 2.

  2. Using the control pad, select ISP Setup.

  3. Press the X button on the control pad.



  4. Take a moment to read the End User License Agreement.

  5. Select Agree if you agree with the terms.

  6. Press the X button on the control pad.


  7. Select New Network Setting.

  8. Press the X button on the control pad.

  9. select I have an ISP.

  10. Press the X button on the control pad.



  11. select Broadband w/ User Name and Password.

  12. Using the control pad, select High Speed Connection (Cable or DSL).

  13. Press the X button on the control pad.



  14. In the User Name field, type your full EarthLink email address (e.g., johndoe@earthlink.net.)

  15. In the Password field, type your password.

    Note: Remember, your password is case sensitive.

  16. In the Verify Password field, type your password again for verification.

  17. Select Continue.

  18. Press the X button on the control pad.


  19. The PS2 will now test your settings. Once the test is completed, select Continue.

  20. Press the X button on the control pad.
