Creating a Static IP Internet Connection for Sony PlayStation 2 (EarthLink DSL)
No Summary
- Insert the Network Adaptor Start-Up Disc into the PlayStation 2.


- Using the control pad, select ISP Setup.
- Press the X button on the control pad.

- Take a moment to read the End User License Agreement.
- Select Agree if you agree to the terms.
- Press the X button on the control pad.

- Select New Network Setting.
- Press the X button on the control pad.

- Select I Have an ISP.
- Press the X button on the control pad.

- Select Advanced Setup.
- Press the X button on the control pad.

- In the IP address field, type your IP address.
- In the netmask field, type your subnet mask.
- In the default router field, type your default gateway.
- Select Continue.
- Press the X button on the control pad.

- In the primary DNS field, type your primary DNS address.
- In the seconday DNS field, type your secondary DNS address.
- Select Continue.
- Press the X button.

- The PS2 will now test your connection. Once the test is complete, select Continue.
- Press the X button on the control pad.

- In the Network Setting Name field, type a name to refer to this connection.
- Select Save.
- Press the X button on the control pad.
