How to Create a DHCP Connection for the Sony PlayStation 2? (EarthLink)

  1. Insert the Network Adaptor Start-Up Disc into the PlayStation 2.
  2. Using the control pad, select ISP SETUP.
  3. Press the X button on the control pad.

  4. Take a moment to read the End User License Agreement.
  5. Select Agree if you agree to the terms.
  6. Press the X button on the controller.

  7. Select New Network Setting.
  8. Press the X button on the control pad.

  9. Select I have an ISP.
  10. Press the X button on the control pad.

  11. Select Automatic Configuration.
  12. Press the X button on the control pad.

  13. The PS2 will now test your Internet connection. Once the test is complete, select Continue.
  14. Press the X button on the controller.

  15. In the Network Setting Name field, type a name to refer to this connection.
  16. Select Save.
  17. Press the X button on the control pad.
