Upgrade iTunes.


Okay, here's the situation. Apple has been upgrading iTunes on an average of once every two weeks.  So the problem you're having might have been cured by a recent update.

So check if there is an update.  In iTunes, click on Help and select "Check for Updates".

If you need to update, it'll prompt you to do so.

If you run into any problems, click here and download the latest version of iTunes.
