Manually Manage

- Set to manually manage.
- When you first get the iPod, load as many songs as possible into iTunes and load them into iPod.
- Set iTunes to manually manage the iPod.
- Optional: Make a smart playlist that will list new items since last iPod update
- While auto-syncing requires no effort on your part, before long there’ll be something on the iPod that gets deleted during the sync process (because it got deleted in iTunes).
