Error Message: "0x800420CB POP3 No Store" prevents mail from being stored on server.
If you get an error message saying that mails cannot be stored on the server, it is likely that the Outlook.dbx file is corrupted. Read this article and know how to correct the mistake.
At times, when you are using Outlook Express, you get the error "0x800420CB POP3 No Store: Mail can not be stored on the server". The reason for that is, Outlook.dbx file is corrupted. Do the following to correct the error and the problem is not likely to recur.
- Open Outlook Express.
- Click Tools > Accounts.
- You will reach the Mail tab.
- Select a duplicate mail account, and then click Remove.
Note: Keep repeating the procedure until all duplicate accounts are removed.
- Click Close.
