Can I access my email without typing password in Outlook Express?

Yes. You can configure your Outlook Express in such a way that you need not enter a password every time to check email.

Passwords are meant to check the authenticity of a user and prevent others from having access to your mailbox. However, there are instances when the emails you receive are not entirely personal and for official purposes or otherwise, you wouldn't mind others checking your inbox.
In some cases the user may be too lazy to type in a password and would like to check mails without having to enter a password every time.

Here's how you can configure your email settings to access an email without having to type a password.
  • Open Outlook Express.

  • Click on Tools > Accounts.

  • The Internet Accounts window displays.

  • In the Mail tab,  select the account whose password you  intend to change.

  • Click Properties.

  • The Properties screen shows up. Click the Servers tab.

  • Click the Remember Password checkbox.

  • Enter your password in the Password field.

  • Click Apply > OK.

  • In the Internet Accounts window, click Close.

  • From now on, when you try to access mail, you need not have to type a password.
