Here we give below the steps to be followed to make your mails secure so that you are prompted to type in your user name and password when you check mails.
Before setting up Outlook to prompt for username and password, verify that the Corporate or Workgroup option is installed. For that, do the following.

Before setting up Outlook to prompt for username and password, verify that the Corporate or Workgroup option is installed. For that, do the following.
- Launch Outlook Express.
- Click Tools > Accounts.

- In the Mail tab of Internet Accounts window, select your email account.
- Click Properties.

- The Properties window of your email account will be displayed. Select the Servers tab.
- Uncheck the box Remember password.
- Click OK.

- You will reach the Internet Accounts window.
- Click Close.

- The next time you open Outlook Express, it will ask you for a password.
