Understanding features of photo control panel in Playstation 3.

What is the use of photo control panel in Playstation 3 ?

This article is about the uses of photo control panel in Playstation 3 and its features.

The Photo control panel allows you to view, delete, or re-arrange the order in which their images are viewed.  The Photo control panel can be accessed by pressing the  while viewing an image (indicated by #5 in the screenshot below).



Below you will find a list of icons associated with the Photo control panel and their functionalities.

View Mode

Changes the size of the image displayed on the screen without changing the image proportions.

  • Normal: Displays the image to fit the screen size without changing the image proportions.
     

  • Zoom: Displays the image at the full screen size without changing the image proportions. When using this mode, portions of the image along the side may not be displayed.

Display Mode

Displays image information on the screen.

  • Image name (indicated by #1 in the screenshot above)
     

  • Image number/total number of images (indicated by #2 in the screenshot above)
     

  • Recorded date and time (indicated by #3 in the screenshot above)

Change Effect

Changes the method of switching images.

  • Normal: Images fade in/fade out.
     

  • Slide: Images slide in.

Delete

Deletes the currently displayed image.
Rotate Left / Rotate Right

Rotates the image 90 degrees in the selected direction.
Up / Down / Left / Right

Moves the image in the selected direction to reveal any hidden portions of the image that are not displayed on the screen (as may occur when the View Mode is set to Zoom).
Previous / Next

Displays the previous or next image.

Slideshow

Activates the Slideshow feature (indicated by #4 in the screenshot above).
