How to connect your Windows PC to your Xbox 360?
This article explains how to connect your Xbox 360 console to your Windows PC
It is very simple and easy to connect your Xbox 360 console to your PC. All you need is an ethernet connection. Connect the ethernet cable (RJ-45) from the ethernet port of your computer to Xbox 360 as shown below:

You can now access media files including pictures, audio and video files.
Click the OS that you are running on your PC and follow the setup process.

- Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005 - Update Rollup 2
- Windows Vista Basic
- Windows Vista Home Premium
- Windows Vista Ultimate
To check which version of Windows XP Media Center Edition you are running, follow these steps:
- Start the Media Center.
- On the Settings menu, click General -> About Media Center.
- Click Software Version.
The Media Center version will be displayed.
To check the version of Windows XP you are running, follow these steps:
- On the Start menu, right-click My Computer.
- Click Properties.
On the General tab, under System, you will find the version of Windows you are running.
