Positioning the Wii console.
Your Wii console is designed to be positioned horizontally or vertically.

The console comes with a stand in case you decided to place it vertically.
Vertical positioning of your Wii console:
- You need to attach the Wii stand plate to the bottom of the stand by sliding the prongs into the slots as shown below. You should hear a click sound when inserted.
- Place the console stand on a flat surface and place the Wii console into the stand. Do not slide the console from the front. Just lower it onto the stand.
Horizontal positioning of your Wii console:
- Remove the controller socket cover for the console to lay completely flat on the surface as shown below:
- Press the console gently as shown till you hear a slight click.
- Remove the cover by pulling straight up out of the console.
- The cover can be replaced by reinserting the cover straight down into the console until it clicks into place.
- Press the console gently as shown till you hear a slight click.
- Place your Wii console on a flat surface.
