Why does my Wii system keep shutting down?
Well, if you are confronted with the frustrating problem of your wii system shutting down frequently, this article has the right solution.

1. First of all please make sure wii has good ventilation. Do not use wii when it’s on carpeting or inside an enclosed space. 4. Also confirm that the AC adapter is attached properly. Firmly plug the AC adapter into the back of the wii(labeled 12V IN) and into a working wall outlet. Once it is plugged in please check the power button to see if the system is receiving power.
Moreover we also need to check few basic things before we start. The word "wii" and the model number "RVL-002 (USA)” should be molded into the AC Adapter and lets not any unlicensed product which might affect your system adversely
