There are error messages that keep appearing while upgrading to Windows Vista!

This article lists common error messages that might come up while upgrading XP to Vista



When you want to upgrade from Windows XP to Vista on the Installation guide, the upgrade option might be disabled and you might get an error message.  This article gives you a list of error messages and how to get rid of them.

You get an error message saying:

  1. Windows cannot determine if another operating system exists on your computer.
  2. Your upgrade partition has multiple operating systems.
  3. You must rename or remove <FolderName> before upgrade can continue.
  4. Upgrade has been disabled.
