Launching the AT&T Yahoo! Browser

To use the Browser, launch it using your desktop icon or the  Quick Launch toolbar.

The Browser window is divided into three areas:

    * The main controls at the top and bottom of the window, including:
          o Title bar – shows the name of the Browser and the name of the current web page.
          o Menu bar – menus of commands and options to take actions in the Browser.
    • Toolbar – a customizable row of buttons you can click to go to your favorite Internet sites and services.
    • Address field – displays the URL of the current web page. You can enter another URL to display a different page.
    • Search field – allows you to search the Internet easily without having to go to a search engine page.
    • Tab bar – a row of one or more tabs, each of which displays a web page.
    • Status bar – appears at the bottom of the Browser window, displaying messages and information about the current web page. The Status bar is usually blank.
    • The Sidebar – gives you access to <!-- #BeginLibraryItem "/Library/BrandLong.lbi" -->AT&T Yahoo!<!-- #EndLibraryItem --> services while you are browsing the Internet and appears on the left or right side of the window.
    • The web page content area – displays the contents of the current web page.

      To launch the Browser, take one of the following actions:

      Double-click your desktop icon, if you have one.

    • Click the Browser icon on your Quick Launch toolbar.
    • On your Windows Start menu, select AT&T Yahoo!.
