My Yahoo Messenger does not work properly after an upgrade from Windows XP to Vista!

- Open Yahoo Messenger and Click Messenger
- Click on Preferences. Once you click on Preferences, you will find Connection in the left box

- Now, just change the connection settings to align with the network of the destination computer. There will be four different settings listed - No proxies, Use proxies, Firewall with no proxies, or No network detection. Select the one depending on your needs.
- Click on Apply and then OK.
